Artificial Intelligent energy management for hospitality and retail SMEs
Artificial Intelligent energy management for hospitality and retail SMEs
Our vision is for an innovative yet user-friendly app, specifically for hospitality and retail SMEs, that will a) reduce the scope (and therefore cost) of energy audits, and b) provide bespoke recommendations for the most suitable and cost-effective energy efficiency (EE) building upgrades. These upgrades will support businesses to build back better following COVID-19, increase investment in EE upgrades, and ultimately contribute toward EU 2050 Net-Zero Carbon commitments.
Our project will leverage investment in Considerate Group’s (CG’s) existing app; fluttr. The existing app (which does not currently use AI) encourages EE in SMEs through simple, jargon-free energy data visualisations and generic upgrade and behavioural change tips. However, the app is currently hospitality-specific and only has smart-meter integrations for the UK energy sector. We would seek to expand on this with integrations into another EUREKA country.
The key objectives for the project are to:
Integrate innovative AI modelling into the existing fluttr app, enabling bespoke EE upgrade recommendations for SMEs;
Translate the app into another European language;
Integrate the app with our partner countries' Smart Meters;
Create a commercially viable product.
We are seeking:
Energy companies in other countries who would be interested in helping developing the app for use by their client base.

Brief description of my Organisation
Considerate Group are sustainability specialists for the hospitality sector.
Every day we look after our guests with two things front of mind - hospitality, and leaving a good impression. But, in using vast amounts of energy and resources, we perhaps create a negative impact on our planet that is worth reassessing.
From small changes to far-reaching policy decisions, we know enough about how hospitality works to help you make an impact that you can both be proud of, and quickly see more economically sustainable returns from.
