Artificial Intelligence Based Smart Meter – Grid and Communication Technologies for Critical Infrastructures (AI-SMeCoT)
The current project aims to deliver a unified infrastructure where data is collected from multiple utility companies using smart meters. The collected data will enable the usage of AI algorithms where we can reduce the carbon footprint, prevent leakage and fraud. In the end, we are expecting reduced costs for distribution companies, greater awareness of consumption for end-users, and better management of precious resources for everyone.

Brief description of my Organisation
IGDAS is one of the largest gas distribution companies in Europe and İGDAŞ has been distributing gas in Istanbul for over 35 years. In the context of Research and Development operations and projects; we have experience in smart grid, smart gas meter, ultrasonic measuremet, microthermal measurement, information communication technologies (ICT) and operation in natural gas distribution network. Additionally, We are going to execute a global project involving our project management, requirement elicitation, analytical thinking, solution evaluation and strong planning skills.
